That has been repeated so many times, how is it still lost on people?

I think it's clear that the overwhelming majority of people still wanting stay at home enforced are not doing it for epidemiological reasons.

They simply don't want to get their asses back to work.

For those of us who no longer work, there's nowhere to go. Nothing fun is open.

Not going to socialize at the nearest WalMart.

If they won't open malls, movies and other entertainment venues, there's no point in doing anything BUT stay home.

I don't think you understand New Orleans demographics.

I do. Her target demo isn't known for being introverted shut-ins. Not being able to get their "hair did" and their "nails did" isn't going to fly for much longer.

What's going to happen is that demo is going to throw their own parties in their own neighborhoods and rivals will show up and then... well... Big Easy gonna Big Easy.

Going to take a wild guess that the mayor of New Orleans doesn't have to pay for saints tickets

Yep.

He's going to phrase it politically smart. Something like:

"We respect the decisions made by New Orleans to protect their city and it's residents during this pandemic. In order to continue with our plan of playing football this Fall, the New Orleans Saints will use stadium X as their temporary home until it is safe to return to the Superdome"

Within 2 days Destroya will backtrack. Her black base has quite a few die hard Saints fans too.

trump could end all this BS tomorrow by announcing there will be zero dollars for states and cities and any thinking that government will pay for this shut down is wrong

once they know they arent getting any money, everything will be open again in 24 hours so tax money can start being collected again

The bartenders, waitresses and casino workers who rely on tips from the many fall conventions will continue to vote people like her in because they are sooooo not racist.

French quarter fest and Satchmo fest, both planning on the fall, have both cancelled.

The writing on the wall for these cancel was there when it announced moving to the fall. The logistics of putting FQF on in the fall were pretty big. This isn’t no means covering for Destroya she will dangle Mardi Gras in front of everyone to keep getting national interviews.

She wants things done on her order and on her terms and that isn’t going to change. She sees this as her political legacy and spring board.

Why would they go all the way to San Antonio when there is perfectly good stadium an hour away from their practice facility, team offices and the players, coaches and staff all live here.
