I bet there are a lot of people here who have cancer or have loved ones with cancer who are going to tell you that you are just making this shite up. Go out and beat a nurse (or teacher or whomever the OT target is) and get it over with. But you won’t...

My sister in law goes to treatment every morning.
F*** Cancer. It has taken too many friends and family. This would be a super crappy time to get it (I know two people who have been diagnosed with it since COVID-19). Although, I wonder if keeping people in the hospital would work (hint: it doesn't). Although having to go every morning must be a PITA too.
I had leukemia at age nine, and they made me stay in the hospital for my entire Chemotherapy treatment, due to my other medical issues at the time. I still got infections and pneumonia that delayed my treatments (hospitals are terrible for getting infections and whatnot, but I guess they wanted me close by in case of emergency, which I did code blue a couple of times). It was supposed to be like 12 rounds (hell, I don't really remember) over about six months, but it ended up being almost eight months in the hospital, which means I missed all of second semester of school, the entire summer, and went home in late September, and went back to school in early October. I had to repeat fourth grade for like a month, then I moved on to fifth grade. Was embarrassing AF.
Moral of the story: There is no good time to get cancer, but now is as bad as ever. I also wonder how many people will choose to forego their treatments, especially if they cannot have loved ones around them. This would be especially for older folks who don't have much time left as is.

Mom, two nephews, and stepdad almost had to move to Houston to start his treatment a few weeks ago. Nobody wanted to take him in, somehow cancer that needs chemo isn’t deemed “life threatening” enough for treatment.
Again, took weeks for someone to agree to take him

Not a doubt in my mind I win across the board but since you decided to bring it up, I’ll let you post yours first
Why not add college GPAs, touchdowns scored in pee wee football, and HRs hit in high school baseball.

Because medical personnel working extended hours in dangerous and mentally taxing positions can't take a five minute break?

it's hilarious how triggered the OT is by nurses making 30 seconds videos
My thing with the videos is this, their hospitals aren't overrun and they aren't short of PPE. If they were, fifteen nurses making a video wearing PPE wouldn't be happening.
And spare me 30 seconds. It takes way longer to learn the dances than 30 fricking seconds.

Way off - nothing could be further from the truth. Doing radiation 5 days a week.
Not sure what your point is dummy.

I work for one of the largest engineering firms in the country. My colleagues and I can get stressed. Can’t say we’ve ever had the time or inclination to make tic toc videos at work though.
if we put a "heroes work here" sign in front of your office will you stop whining

Don't get me wrong, Tik Tok is annoying as all hell, and even worse when you see supposedly overrun hospitals doing it, but they didn't stop cancer treatments.

Imagine this
We have socialized healthcare system
+
Covid-19 hits the states
+
The same number of cancer patients

Are you under the impression people in the middle of cancer treatments were just told to frick off for a few months?
Wouldn't the cancer death rate equal the Covid death rate if that were the case? Lol

Maybe one day if you are unfortunate enough to be the one being treated you will understand. Until then I am done wasting my time with you.

My next door neighbor has had treatment throughout this entire thing, so I'm not sure where you are getting your information from.
