Heard rumors they were opening back up but now JBE extended the stay at home order till May 15. Are we still getting walk free BREC golf till May 15?

Are push carts available at Beaver Creek or do you have to bring your own?

They don't have them under normal circumstances, so bring your own. The only place I think I've ever rented one was Webb, but I own my own now.

Yeah no shite

I figure I've played about $500 worth of free golf the last 5-6 weeks at Webb/Santa Maria/Beaver Creek.

Beaver and SM have push carts normally, I've rented from both, but they are not available currently.

How packed has Beaver been early Saturday mornings? Thinking about heading out there with my push cart

I was out there Saturday and I think I saw them on the 18th green, the only reason I have seen it slow at BC are the douches that try to start on 10. Group cut in front of us on 10 the past Saturday when there wasn't a soul on 1...

Played Webb today and the talk over there is that they are planning to open back up either Thursday or Friday. They are just waiting on the email to let them know.

Just saw an email confirming that they were reopening. It sucks, but it's the right call.

Is a BREC six-month unlimited plan for $975 really too expensive? I am not an OT baller but that just seems like a really reasonable price for unlimited golf. That also comes with free range tokens.

Excluding Santa Maria, $650 for six months!

There was a ninesome there on Sunday. They were playing a two team scramble. Most had push carts, but 2 had their bags in tailgate wagons that they were pulling. Thankfully I was ahead of them.

Course is in really nice shape aside from some spots on a couple of the usual greens that have issues.

That's really reasonable. Still can be upset at not getting something for free lol.

I'm expecting work to be back to normal in a month, so doubt I'll get out enough to justify the membership, even at those prices.

Where do I sign up?

ETA: wait... this is a real thing?

ETA 2: Wow.. I’ve lived in BR since 2011, play a decent amount of BREC golf, and have never heard of this. Seems like it could be marketed better.

Yes, no clue why anyone thinks golf is anything but cheap in BR.

You can walk 9 holes in the afternoon for $11. You can also get on most courses on the weekend with a cart for less than $60. It's really affordable.

And they don't market it at all, fwiw. There may be a link online or a flyer above the urinal. If you are a senior and are willing to play weekdays only, it's real cheap.

LINK

If you are OK not playing SM or BC, they are giving golf away.
