It’s honestly not any different.
This is incredibly incorrect.
How about go google the components of their call to prayer and then jog on back and explain how simple bell tolling the hour is equivalent to a man proclaiming OVER A LOUDSPEAKER that:
"Muhammed is the messenger of god and there is no god but Allah"
It is absolutely fricking different than chiming bells for notation of the hour of the day.
Every church in the neighborhood should blast the Apostle's Creed followed by the Lord's Prayer at the exact time of each of these 5 muslim calls, in order to drown it out. Then, we would have a truly analogous situation.

Exactly.
If they're such devout muslims, why do they need a twice a day reminder??

Well, churches toll their bells...…… So as long as this is not a govt. backed initiative, what's the problem?

I hope they are called to repent and trust in Christ’s sacrificial death for their salvation. Their rejection of Him as the son of God who gave His life for sin will result in their eternal damnation if they don’t repent of their unbelief.

Have you ever heard the call to prayer?
Ever heard of noise ordinances?

I'd love that to happen but I doubt there are any Christian churches left in Little Mogadishu.

They should try that in New York City.

Church bells are melodic and generally pretty.
The muslim call to prayer sounds like somebody about to hock up a loogie.

Great, the religious ideology that has lead billions of countries into shitholistan status is coming here. Wonderful.

About 5 years ago I was in Paris with my family and we stayed at an AirBNB 2 blocks from the arc de triomphe. Every morning around 5:45 a car with a giant speaker on the roof, (think Blues Brothers) would drive through the neighborhoods blasting the muslim call to Jihad. This put a damper on what was otherwise a great trip.

It's not coming here. It's here.

Well it’s time to take out the trash.

So now any religion can broadcast sermons over loudspeakers in US cities. Oh this will not end well. Why can’t they play them over a radio station ? Seems like the non intrusive to everyone else way to go. Instead this will start a divide that has calmed in the last 5 to 10 years ( roughly).

You're wrong.
Freedom of religion is paramount, regardless of religion.

Let me be clear... I do NOT like this, whatsoever.
But... how is it any different than any number of church bells that are regularly played throughout all cities and towns all across America. If they try to shut one down, they'll end up shutting them all down. Don't like that at all.
Again... I don't like the Muslim's doing ANYTHING over here... but it's a mosque doing it, not the government. So... is it any different than a church ringing bells? I just hope some Muslim doesn't take it as a call to do a bombing.
Well said
