This was lunch today. Supper will be a lot less.

I used The last two full sized slices of my Kroger rye, Parkay, some Kroger ham slices, 4 slices of swiss

and some creole mustard

The Parkay goes onto the bread.

The slice of rye goes into a hot skillet and two slices of swiss are placed.

The ham goes on - I never know if I have used too little or too much ham.

Then I added my creole mustard

and added the second layer of swiss slices

Finally, the top goes on

Carefully flip the sandwich - getting this right is the hardest part of making a ham and cheese. A panini press would be nice.

Half of this sandwich is plenty for me.

Plated with chips

Mine

Sorry guys - This post was a lot like thinking folks are interested in watching you making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

Thanks for looking.

All my stuff

This post made my day. For the record, I would love to see a pictorial of you making a PB&J sandwich. Do you spread on each side? I always mix the peanut butter and jelly together in a bowl and then spread that mixture on the bread. Often times I will use crackers to scoop up and eat the rest.

I'm so glad you are back. These types of threads are light years better than fights about gumbo ingredients.

Supper is something I only had on Sundays at my grandparents' house. Anywhere or anytime else, it just wasn't supper.

I know I already said this the other night, MD, but I am truly so happy you are back. Your threads are always such a breath of fresh air for me.

I still use your marinara sauce recipe anytime I make lasagna! It's so good.
