The Constitution says "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof..."

Did Congress make a law? If not, turns out no rights are being violated, right?

I didn't say he was wrong simply that the Constitution is clear and hundreds of years of lawyers and courts shredding it doesn't change that fact.

I didn't say just the Constitution and it would be pretty much impossible to tell you what it says about the executive branch, if that was meant to be a gotcha moment, it wasnt.
I said the 1st is really damn clear. Yes Congress didn't make the law but it was never intended that the executive could issue orders as has become the practice.

I'm done arguing about it. My opinion is the Constitution is clear and it's a violation certain judges will see it my way some won't, we will see in the end as there will be plenty of lawsuits that come out of this.

If we are just going off of the constitution...

Where does it prohibit states from restricting assembly? Or does it only prohibit the federal government from restricting assembly?

Remember, you said the constitution is clear. Show us where the constitution restricts the states in this matter.

You've been responding to a century of rock solid case law with "the Constitution doesn't say that." Now you aren't really interested in the Constitution because it doesn't say what you need it to, and you need to add your opinion of "what was intended."

Zero judges will agree with you, by the way.

Which statute is the warrant issued pursuant to? Which court ruled the statute invalid?
