SubQ test injections- anyone else doing it?

Been doing it for about 2 months after reading this article and others. Was doing 200 mg/weekly once a week with a 22g, 1.5" needle/syringe injected in the glutes. Now doing 160mg/weekly split in two SubQ injections with a 29g, 5/8" insulin needle & syringe. I'm liking it so far but have been unable to get my blood panels and test levels retested since the quarantine so can't compare.

Why SubQ Better
Going under the skin saves you from approximately 500 potentially damaging intramuscular injections every decade.
Injecting your testosterone subcutaneously involves the use of a small gauge needle (25 gauge half-inch, or 26 gauge 3/8 inch if you're very lean), thus making it feasible to give yourself two injections per week, which allows for a more even and natural testosterone profile.
Since you're injecting two times a week, the testosterone is more smoothly metabolized and might even bring estrogen levels down.
Dr. Crisler believes this method gives you more bang for your testosterone buck. He says that 80 mg of subQ testosterone has the effect of a 100 mg of testosterone administered intramuscularly.
You can use the same needle to fill your syringe and administer the dose.
Since there's no danger of puncturing a vein, there's no need to aspirate when you go subQ.

For TRT doses, I'm on the Sub-Q train. Hopefully you can get your bloods sooner rather than later, but it's been successful for me.

Curious if you guys are staying on the same dosage with different route. Any other side effects?

Yes same dosage. I'm prolly switching to subQ for a while. Gonna backload 29g skin pins and use in the stomach

How does it go through a 26g? A 23g is the smallest I ever used and it’s almost to small.

Am I the only person doing IM shots with an insulin needle? lol How long does it take the oil to disperse? That would be my only concern doing sub q.

Dude 23g is big, I use 27g when I can IM.

You have to draw the Test with a regular syringe w/18 gauge needle and then remove the plunger of the insulin pin and fill it from the back.

I use 27g for Sub-Q. No issues drawing or injecting. No backfilling needed.

You can draw on 27g because the needle is shorter. Go to like a 1" or 1.5" 27g and it will be alot more difficult.

I use the BD syringes, use a dull 29g draw needle then switch the needle to a 27g. Only have to back fill my insulin 29-30g fixed syringes.

I use a 29g for drawing and injecting. Takes awhile to draw but not too bad.

Yep, Dr. started me using Xyosted, it's a pre-measured dose injection pen loaded with testosterone enanthate. My insurance and the discount card cover it 100%
