CENTRAL, La. (WAFB) - An elderly member of Life Tabernacle Church in Central, La. has died of the novel coronavirus, according to a coroner’s report.
Tony Spell, the controversial pastor of that church, disputes the coroner’s findings, saying the man died of another medical condition.
“That is a lie,” Spell said of the coroner’s findings when reached by phone Thursday.
Spell has come under criticism for repeatedly violating an order by Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards that bans gatherings of more than 10 people.

Since the governor’s order was put in place last month, Spell has frequently held church services with hundreds of people in attendance.
Last month, police filed six misdemeanor charges against Spell, accusing him of violating the governor’s executive order.
Of course the pastor says the coroner is lying.

Some very well may be.. I am just not taking scientific advice from a "Pastor" who is not listening to anything but $$.. and claims his building is a hospital and he can cure cancer... and also is openly begging for people's (who are likely out of work) stimulus checks

I'm waiting for Pastor Spell to heal his lawyer who also has the coronavirus.
Obviously, he didn't know about this person since he said he would heal anyone in his congregation that got sick.

This is why every business is being so cautious and trying to one Up the other on how safe they are being. It's also the reason why more people have not defied the order. They don't want to be the poster child for a media label of contributing to passing the virus and getting the shite sued out of them. Well that and threats of loosing licensing etc.

Spell added, “Harold did not have Coronavirus, he was never on ventilator, he did not have Covid-19.”
