"We in the medical field" I'm tired of these medical professionals looking down on the rest of us. I mean, mad respect for what you do, but holy shite you folks are so pompous and arrogant.

One preprint paper relying on biological specimens from 213 patients in China suggested a false-negative rate as high as 30 percent.
You are entitled to your view, but I personally would never use data from China as the basis for it.

Geez dude I’m not asking for a pat on the back, but at least I have some credible insight on this ONE particular subject.

Let me do you the service of informing you that we in the medical field are being told there is a false negative rate of 30% on the tests. So there is a lot of “your test is negative, but you still have it” going on. This should help your case more

What field. Most of us think the number of positive tests means literally nothing and that it’s very widespread.

So the only data on the entire diatribe was from China...early in the process.
Got it
Not to mention the very first sentence tells a lot...

Plus no one on this board really thinks the cases are being inflated.
People think the deaths are being inflated. Which ypur post actually supports
Thanks!

Any doctor taking care of covid patients in the US knows this already. We have plenty of patients we know have the disease (based on their presentation and xrays), but their tests come back negative.

Didn't a good portion of the "medical field" try to blame others for a ppe shortage ?
Sorry , if what you people say isn't believed.

It says to assume they had corona, when coding the death certificate. Even if a test was not done. They are not even hiding it.

If what you say is true then it's safe to assume the mortality rate well below 1%.

Who has said that?

I actually agree. Liberal doctors and nurses up north were definitely embarrassing crying about lack of equipment, when they had enough to make do

Agreed. I have always thought (like most normal people) the denominator for the death rate was artificially low, which was driving up the death rate.

question, where does that fall in line with other known viruses/diseases?
because to me (no medial schooling whatsoever), 30% just sounds like a big number to be wrong on.

Who is this everyone you feeble minded twerps speak of. I suspect the numbers are off both ways. But that's not the issue at this point. The issue is national suicide of shutting down the country instead of stopping to evaluate for a couple of weeks then intelligently getting back to work. We are nuking a country to get rid of a flu virus as a substitute for an existing vaccination at this point.

Then you agree with most everyone on this board.
What are you arguing for?
