I have no doubt that many firms will go under because of this virus

But it’s important to note that they filed bankruptcy before this outbreak happened

AMC theaters may never reopen.

I don’t watch the news, but is anyone running employment stories?

Glad I was able to get one last meal from there last Sunday. It's disappointing, they were one of the better steak chains.

I imagine a lot of entertainment venues may never reopen but AMC was suffering from Hollywood putting out shite product too well before the Rona Virus took hold...

Funny, little city close to me loaned a local theater about $3 million to add two screens right before this stuff hit under the guise of "economic development"...

And that "Price" may have been the cause of their bankruptcy.

When I go out to eat, I go out to eat not to give someone a paycheck. Thus I don't just go to shitty chain restaurants just so the workers can get paid.

See, It's the owners of Logan's fault that the workers are out of a job, not the customers who didn't want to eat their crap.

So, yea, Imma keep doing me.

Logan's sucked and was probably the worst steak chain out there. They were already in bankruptcy receivership before Covid started. To blame their downfall on the virus is misinformed or disingenuous.

And yet you said "no one will miss them"... Of which I pointed out the workers will...

So keep being a putz, putz...

So much attention has been put on assisting local restaurants that I’ve wondered how those chains like Logan’s was doing. Who’s getting to-go from places like that or PF Chang’s or Outback?

A lot of businesses that were on the bubble may be gone.

Pier 1 already closed half its stores, now all of them are closed and they're solely online. Probably not enough to avoid full closure.

Neiman Marcus ("Needless Markup") was already considering bankruptcy and may be pushed over the edge.

Sears and JCPenney, I don't see how they survive.

Macy's and Kohl's are borderline.
