Damn dude, you showed the frick out last 3-4 weeks of season. I know Joe & the WR’s was rolling and got all the attention, but damn you were the man last few weeks and made yourself a lotta money. Selfishly wish we had you back to anchor of D next year, but go do great things young man.

Dude was an animal the last few weeks.

Every year we get that one guy on defense. Queen was it in D this year.

Really wanted him to return. Thought he could win the Butkus award.
Patrick Queen can play this game.

Dude turns 21 in August... I had no clue how young he is. He will be playing football for a very long time

I think he like the rest of the defense had some early bad games but its like the light went on after the ole miss game. I think LSU needs and is starting to recruit more queen/deion jones types at LB. The days of the 6-3 240 pound LB are numbered with all the spread offenses now. With one exception being the d. white type guys that are that big and run a 4.4 forty. Those dont come around very often.

He’s also a very impressive young man, very well spoken and mature beyond his age. That sits well with teams investing millions in him. His interviews increase his draft stock by a lot. True Tiger Great.

Queen was so underrated last year, particularly because the defense was entirely overshadowed by our offense.
What I loved so much about Queen is he had his best games on the biggest stages. He made the 4th down goal line stand stop verse Texas that really gave us a lot of momentum to start the game. He made maybe the biggest individual play of the Bama game, with his back breaking first half interception. That play might have been a 10-14 point swing. And we all know how lights out he was for UGA, OU, Clemson down the stretch.

He was great all season. It is a myth that he improved greatly the last few games. Queen was killing it all season.

Queen also picked off Tua at the end of the half to blow the game wide open.

I was a doubter with him replacing Devin White. But he developed quite a unique identity this year. Looked good played good.

The way he neutralizes screens is amazing. Identifies it early, navigates through traffic, finds the ballcarrier quickly.
And who could forget his game changing INT vs Bama!

That next play is probably my favorite play all season

i gave our LB corp shite for most of the season but after that ole miss game the whole defense stepped up especially queen. his games after ole miss he looks like a 1st rounder before that 3rd rounder. I think his body type and speed are the future of Lbers in college football. Brooks will be special if he can add weight and get to 210 or 215.

That tackle on Etienne near midfield probably saved a touchdown

I could see that several players on the defense were learning every week and by the last third of the season they were on fire. PQ definitely was top level when the tough games came along.
