They said the hospitals would be over run.
My wife is a RN, her hours have now been cut for the second time and she is about out of PTO.
Kettering health network, her place of business and the largest hospital conglomerate in Dayton is working at 48% capacity, yeah, this is a scary flu, millions will die, GTFOH.

It so deadly and dangerous all the doctors, nurses, tech, administrators, janitors, etc. go home after their shift and its a high probability that they are or will be infected, they are potentially (highly likely) carrying it on their clothing, body, and personal items... which than gets in contact with various other surfaces like their car and eventually home.
Yet, none of them are in strict quarantine, if this was the zombie outbreak, they would be quarantined to the hospital or close by with probably guards.
Instead, they go home to infect their family and people at the store - I certainly wouldn't go home if I thought it was dangerous.

Just be glad you aren't in an area like Baton Rouge where the hospitals may have an overall below-average census but are converting med-surg unit after med-surg unit into COVID units.

Hospital downtown in New Orleans intubated 8 in 10 hours yesterday. This wasn't a big hospital either.

do you really think Dayton is different than I dunno 1000s of other cities. I mean come on this isn't a problem.

You people shouldn’t have done Mardi Gras and should stop having dance parties in the streets.

Is this a subtle brag that Dayton isn’t full of fat diabetics like New Orleans?

That's cool, but what does she actually do?
There is a big difference between an ICU or Emergency Room RN and something like a dermatology nurse

The fact that you are able to operate a computer and find a wife is a testament to the special education systems in our country. We’re all very proud of your accomplishments.

For celebrities, the key is to announce it early. You get to be interviewed and have jolly Skypes describing your mild ailments. Without making it public it can turn mortal. Just announce it those who do do not die

And those people could have self-isolated, which is not what they probably did. Furthermore, the numbers from NY seem to follow the world more or less... elderly sick... and most likely fat fricks.

Out of the 1046 classified deaths as to underlying causes in NY thus far 1.72% did not have one or more of Diabetes, Lung Disease, Cancer, Immunodeficiency, Heart Disease, Hypertension, Asthma, Kidney Disease and GI/Liver Disease.

The virus isn't a hoax, the response and policies are... seem more intent on collapsing the country.

"The biggest mistake we made was to admit patients infected with COVID-19 into hospitals throughout the region," said Carlo Borghetti, the vice-premier of Lombardy, an economically crucial region with a population of 10 million.

If this situation has revealed anything it’s that a certain percentage of this board makes us look like the conservative version of the idiots over at DU.

I agree, the flu is real, its calling it a pandemic which is the hoax, I thought we were all past that point by now.
