They all suck and most of them will be in court when this is over. Trial lawyers going to have a field day.

I've heard mixed results in LR

Everybody was out Sunday when I was there, so outside of restaurants I'm not sure what was closed tbh. Gf lives in WLR around Belks and that whole area was rocking and rolling like usual.

I was kinda pissed though, I've had a bad craving for Kiyens Korean BBQ or some of their Sushi. Had to settle for fried rice out of a bag from Trader Joes

It is fricking absurd to continue to suggest that effective measures to contain this epidemic are nothing but a gross abuse of civil liberties.

This is what I've been thinking. You would have had to trample on everyone's rights back in January to have stopped this from spreading. Its hard to just blame people for China's mistakes.

Having millions of tests wouldn't have stopped it either. People carrying with out symptoms arent going to get tested and still spread it.

What? He is using scare tactics and even says it in his press conferences.

(R) Gregg Abbot - Texas

Nothing like being the second hightest populated state with only 58 deaths...Abbott has been a calming presence during all this hysteria. shite I'll even give ole Sylvester, Mayor of Houston credit. We've had 4 deaths in Harris County and we were pretty late to the shelter in place game.

Jefferson and Orleans have highest rates in the country.

Louisiana has ~1.2% of US population

Louisiana has ~6.5% of Covid-19 Deaths

Being lucky doesn’t make your response correct, it just means Texas has been fortunate so far.

live in Georgia and conclude that Governor Kemp has done a good job

I watched his presser a few hours ago when he issued the statewide shelter in place. He said it was due to game changing information received in tbe last 24 hours that people could possibly be infected and spread the virus while not showing symptoms. Something we've all known for weeks.

I don't really know what he should have done or be doing, but he sure looks slooooow to respond to things at every step of the way. Even 2 weeks ago when shite really started going down, he didn't mandate people stay at home but to just stay 6 feet from people and if you see restaurants or companies not following orders to just call in and report it. He kinda just seems like he has no clue what's going on and is terrified of making a hard decision
