thought Taylor Kitsch(?) would go on to great things but he really hasn't been that good in anything else. He was outstanding as Riggins though.
He’s basically playing Riggins but he’s great in that movie about the Arizona Hotshots tragedy. Which is an excellent movie though sad.

Aimee Teegarden is an absolute smoke show

I would purchase a jar of Lyla Garrety's farts for a hefty price.
There. I said it.

Coach Taylor and Tami’s marriage is my favorite tv marriage. It just seemed authentic and they were good at working their issues out.

I still am sad Zach Gilford didn't get an Emmy nom for this show. Kyle Chandler and Connie obviously dominated there, but Gilford frequently outacted everybody in key moments like the shower scene. His performance over the entire episode of The Son is unbelievably good.

My favorite aspect of the show was always when they cut back and forth between the different aspects of Dillon reacting over the same event. Always gave you an interesting insight in to everyone and always gave you the feeling you were an actual town citizen. I always liked it when they jumped between the black and white church

Im glad the quarantine got a few more people to watch this show. This is absolutely one of the greatest shows of all time. So many great actors came through this show it's ridiculous. I always recommend it and people sleep on it like it's just another high school drama when it actually is a really well put together show

This is the woman people act like is the hottest chick they’ve ever seen.
I don't think people are claiming that, however, you might want to find a photo of her when the show was actually on the air. She's turning 40 next year.

This thread made me start a rewatch. I'm at the point in the first season when the OC says the stuff about black players not being QBs. I've always thought they handled that topic very well and intelligently

This thread has me wanting to do a rewatch. What are yall watching it on?

It was on Amazon Prime last time I rewatched not too long ago

I'm down to the final two episodes.

Just finished. That finale was great! The whole show was well-written, directed, acted and edited.
I'm mostly pissed that I just stumbled on this show - what - 13 years after it aired? I think I was actually attempting to watch the movie Friday Night Lights and stumbled into it. I knew the series version existed but I never paid it any attention obviously.
If I stay cooped-up for another month I'll probably rewatch it.

Great music by Explosions in the Sky. Had never heard of them prior to the show

The movie was my introduction to them and I’ve been a fan ever since... they have some good stuff... I used to listen to it when I was studying... and then I listen to it if I’m deep in thought or need some background noise .
I’ve been lucky to see them twice, they rarely play live

I thought the acting and playing their role by a few of the main characters made the show great. Matt, Coach Taylor, Riggins, Tami Taylor and Buddy Garity were perfect. They turned into their characters. Show would have been fine without Lyla (I know shes a smoke show), Julie, The hurt qb. Every time they showed Jason Street in the hospital or his on/off relationship it just delayed the show. Really thought Riggins and his brother were the highlights of the show.

We watched it a couple of years ago. It was a lot better than I expected.
Also, Tyra for the win. Lyla was too prim for me, and she's a shite actress.
