These long awaited/hyped up fights come and go with the morning sun. Even if the fight happened, it would be forgotten by the average fan by the time UFC's next big fight occurred.

Because he lives there? He flew from US to Abu Dhabi because UFC told him that was the likeliest location, then flew to Russia when UAE announced they were closing their borders

Everyone knew this wasnt going to happen. I've never seen such a cursed fight.
And I guess Tony is never going to get a title shot.
At least give him McGregor so he can make a huge paycheck....
I think secretly Dana loves this. All he cares about is Connor vs Khabib pt 2 (which McGregor will again get his arse kicked) and Tony was the only thing standing in the way of that fight possibly not happening.
Now it's on to fricking Ramadan until like November. So now, the ufc has no big event scheduled at all for the rest of the year.

If I was Tony I wouldn’t do shite. Although the man has to eat. Sucks for him he is steadily getting fricked. Give him a interim fight? Yeah ok you stripped from him last time and he didn’t lose.

If I’m Tony I take masvidal. He gains nothing fighting anyone outside of Conor or khabib

Damn it this fight really is cursed. At this point I just want to see fights on April 18th. I am still intrigued with a Ferguson vs. Gaethje fight.

Can anyone answer why the ufc doesn’t like DP? Is he just now a draw? I mean his resume is very impressive and one of the top fighters in the world. I think it’s super disrespectful that he’s not even mentioned to fight tony. frick he beat Gatheje

The only catch is that if tony fights someone else and loses, he completely missed out on the khabib payday
