For me it was always Reggie Miller and Brett Farve.

I always wanted to like Reggie Miller but growing up I always rooted for the magic, knicks, and the lakers. Against the magic when Shaq was there, he was a thorn on our side. What he did against the knicks and giving Spike Lee the choke sign I was in disbelief at wtf just happened. When Shaq was with the lakers, I was terrified at him making a game winning shot in the finals. Luckily that did not happen. Once he retired, I grew an appreciation for him and I enjoy his his calls on nba games on tnt.

Being a died hard 49ers fan I hated Brett Farve and all the times he stabbed us in the heart come playoff time. I loved the way he played but I could never root for him. I always respected his play especially in January playing in zero degrees with no long sleeve. He was always playing back yard football and he was having fun. At the end of the day, I kept remembering all the times he knock off the 49ers in the regular season and playoffs.

Steph. He looks like he shouldn’t be in the league, even though he’s likely an all time great.

Yet, he still celebrates like a total douche after almost every three he hits, while probably being the greatest shooter of all time.

Mine was Wayne Gretzky

I was a huge Mario Lemieux fan, so i loathed Gretzky and the Oil.

You were a fan of the Magic, Knicks, Lakers and 49ers? That is a random grouping of teams..

Favre is a good one in the sense that the media gushing over his swashbuckling gunslinger backyard football style got a little nauseating. "He's just a little kid having fun out there."

Aaron Rodgers...dude is a HOF without question but he just comes off as an arrogant arse. At least Brady I can kind of respect more.

Kobe Bryant... only because I loved Shaq... loved him retired though... most players you grew up hating you eventually start to respect... Mike Vick was probably who I went back and forth with the most being a Saints fan...Jerry Rice before him ... love and hated them both

Lebron absolutely. Always cheered for him up through the second stint in Cleveland but the graffiti incident among other things made him really hard to like.

John Lackey. Even when he was with the Cubs I still couldn’t do it.
