I hate it

Cam Akers is a good player but would be a stupid pick for us at 88. Is quarterman even going to be there at 203?

I keep seeing Robertson mocked in 4.

I think both Holder & Kat Terrell did too.

He isn’t going to be around in the 4th

I really like this draft but I also really like the first three picks. Excellent value with those first three picks. And I’m very high on those 3.

I like it. Just get me impact guys that will make a difference in 2020. Don't care where they play or where they come from. Just get on the field and contribute.

Y'all should listen to "First Draft" Podcast with Todd McShay and Mel Kiper. They did a NFC South breakdown after the combine and although they talked about us the least of the 4 teams, McShay made a great point. We have a QB with a good arm, not great arm, who has incredible timing and preparation. When searching for a weapon, we need someone who can fit into timing routes and patterns and can build rapport with 9. Explosive plays happen in a timing route offense when the receiver is where he's supposed to be when Drew delivers the ball and then he breaks a tackle or makes somebody miss, and is off to the races. That's why I lean towards YAC guys in this draft.

This is why signing Sanders and Peat was so critical. We now have freedom to not have to force or reach for a particular position at 24 and can just focus on picking the absolute best football player on the board at 24, regardless of position

I'm not saying that he's not coming back, but I am saying that if U can have a RB ready to learn how to pick up the blitz for Taysom or whoever in '21, get that dude in now. Better a 2nd year stud than a rookie. I'm not saying that Murray won't be back. I'm just saying prepare for it

First pick is going to be Love or Eason if Payton likes one of them

The dead money with Brees is going to make it impossible to pay $20m or more for a starting QB in the two years after he actually retires.

This is dumb. The games with Brees/Kamara out Murray carried the load and did a great job. Frankly he should have gotten more touches down the stretch because we were a more balanced and consistent team when got more carries.

I’m all for drafting another guy.

With all the variables

With all the variables that go into a football season, it is pointless to have daily/weekly discussions about it.

We just as well shut down TD to be honest. Just not worth talking about any sports at this point.

I like it. But my perfect draft would probably be Tee Higgins or Justin Jefferson in rd 1. Trade up and get Delpit in Rd 2 if he’s there still by like pick 42. He’s a major talent. If not use 3rd rd pick on a guy like Marlon “big Kat” Davidson. Try to get Jalen hurts in the 4th so we have a qb to groom for future. Evan Weaver inside linebacker from cal in the 5th if he’s there, He looks like a surefire starter. If not Then take fliers on guys like tanner muse, or Quarterman in The 5th or 6th. Also while strongly considering Thaddeus moss. Those are all value picks to me

So what you are saying is that every NFL GM and head coach for the last 30 years is retarded?

They have targeted players. They don't try to predict the draft. That is why they have a draft board and update it as the draft goes on.

Haha I mean I think we will be fine this season rolling with a healthy Kamara and Murray. Murray was a pleasant surprise for me. He played pretty well.
Hopefully we can get back to pounding it and be a top 10 rush offense with Kamara more in a groove.

With that said, I wouldn’t be opposed to drafting someone like Akers or another prospect they thought would be a good fit. Running back is a young mans game. Murray is 30. Finding a stud in the draft to pair with Kamara for the future is the type of thing that injects some juice into the offense.
