Again, OP is false.
No, it isn’t.
And this is going to happen at every hot zone. In Spain, 13% of all cases are health providers.
30 employees is a small percentage for a system as big as Ochsner and nearly all of these are ICU personnel.

Alot of you turds are starting to realize that the whole"its no worse than the flu" narrative is crumbling. And it's starting to hit close to home. THE STORY REPORTED IS TRUE. Keep being stupid for the sake of dumb politics then...

I haven't the faintest idea but it makes me wonder if they're short on supplies and sharing some things they thought were okay

Actually, it’s still not worse than the flu

Their PPE is actually pretty good and quantity is not a serious yet. But they also are getting the bulk of the severe cases and have the highest number of COVID positives in the state.
This kind of stuff is going to happen. It’s happening in New York as well.

Again, OP is false.
Is your wife an executive at Ochsner?

Masks and gloves are just basic precautions. They need them for sure but this lives on surfaces too.

Good to hear.
Yeah this is a very infectious virus, so in sure it's bound to happen. Probably just gets worse as the hospitals fill

Op is saying it’s only the Nola location.
The main campus is in Jefferson Parish

Yes, it’s right on the line. But it has the most COVID patients of all the hospitals in Jefferson and Orleans.

Not surprising the biggest hospital in the state has the most patients.
It’s a few miles from the line

Is it their only location? Or does Ochsner encompass a lot of locations?

Yep. I wonder how far off they are from sending all non-COVID patients to Baptist and making Main Campus COVID center.

Ochsner over the years has become a massive system... thousands and thousands of medical professionals... 50 might seem like a lot (and it is) but it's just a fraction of their medical employee base. 300 is a bigger number, but it's not like 300 at East Jefferson.

They have several locations all over the state. Or at least in South La
Baptist in Nola and the location in Kenner are probably the next two biggest locations.
