Your assumption is that they all got it from patients, yes?

I'd bow out with a little dignity. You have demonstrated you have no clue.

Not all, but most. Don't be stupid.

Remdesivir and Chloroquine or Chloroquine plus Z pac, the trials are at Tulane and Ochsner. They are having good results and able to keep some people off the vent and get others off of them. If you google zdogg he has the protocols on his blog( he is an IM/ED doctor at stanford)

Drug trials/studies.
They’ll likely be testing vaccines soon.
Do you know how many people Ochsner employs? Do you know when these workers were diagnosed? Do you know how many of them actually worked directly with covid patients?

I see what it says but the hospital is in Jefferson Parish, not Orleans.
This is right. Doesn't it switch from Claiborne to Jefferson Hwy at the parish line?

Yes. Right at the canal by Lowe’s and the Salvation Army.

Surely she's aware of the PPE issues and how Ochsner is handling worker exposures then. You really gonna sit here with a straight face and act like these people aren't getting it at work?
Head deep in the sand.

Somehow they have their address listed as new Orleans. I understand that its in Jefferson. They also own Baptist and a bunch of other stuff in the city so who cares anyway. I can also confirm they are trying experimental treatments. Not sure what they are but if I get sick enough I might find out.

It’s 0.2% of the Ochsner work population. A population that gets health checks every single day to determine if they are infected and need a test. Isn’t it common knowledge around here that covid is much more widespread than current testing shows because they’re only actually testing the most vulnerable populations? Right now there are 1800 confirmed cases in the state. That’s 0.04% of the population right there alone and it’s only the most vulnerable and just tests that have come back. I’d bet that way more than 0.2% of Louisiana’s residents have this virus. Point being, the stats aren’t out of alignment. It’s not some spike or something that another large company wouldn’t deal with. Like I said about entergy... they employ 15k. If 30 people got it across the company, it wouldn’t shock anyone. Hell, they probably do.
Second, most of the people got it the same way other people in the Nola area got it. Simply being out in public. The majority of them were never in contact with covid patients. Did some get it at work? Sure. They’re in close contact with other workers as much as they are patients if not more. They can’t really social distance from each other.

Wrong. They are testing anyone that’s showing symptoms. I know of an 8 year old that got tested last week.

That wasn’t the case just last week. If that’s changed, great. But those test results haven’t come back yet, so they’re irrelevant to my point.

Yes it was and his test came back Monday and he tested negative
You seem to not be as knowledgeable as you think you are

I work for Ochsner. This is true. It’s a terrible situation right now. I’ll leave it at that.
