Trump has a difficult decision to make in a few weeks. Fauci and the scientist will want to push this until summer or fall. The US would experience a horrific depression.
Hopefully trump is listening to Fauci but also his chief economists and financial leaders.

People smarter than you have done that and decided on our current course of action.

Actually I don't really value money that much. I think if I could have done it over I might have become a monk or picked a simpler life, but I do have responsibilities and everyone I know has responsibilities that are far more threatened by the reaction to the epidemic than the epidemic itself.
So you don't value money. Still the question remains what are you philosophically basing all of these responses around? Is it your pragmatic position in life or some ideology?

You don't have savings? They don't have savings?

I'm not having a philosophical discussion with someone whose response to disagreement was to say I had to be a troll or benefiting financially from this.

Be careful. You don’t want to be social shamed the hordes of self anointed epidemiologist, doomers, and facebook moms.

Well that is a shame, I guess I will just have to keep pondering on what motivates people like you to do what you do. I'm sorry you could not enlighten me. Obviously you are also very sensitive.

No worries. Next time, don't start off a discussion by being a jackass.

Our lives are absolutely fricked if we don't contain this shite.

We can recover economically. We can't bring people back to life.

That's how this will continue to spread. Letting this run rampant in the "healthy" population is about the worst idea I've heard.

I work for a company with over 200k employees. They have nor furloughed a single employee, so far.
They have, however, let us know that merit raises and bonuses are off the table, at least for the immediate future, but we all still have our positions.

That's compelling.

So is that.

Correct. We could just let it spread more rapidly now to the point that it overwhelms our healthcare system.
Even better, suck it up for two weeks or so and move on with your life.

Mate this issue can finally make you MAGA
I kind of wonder where Bernie stands on basically shutting down our economy, the rights abuses perpetrated by local governments, and then reopening the economy, but since it looks like he’ll lose it doesn’t really matter

That’s truly unfathomable to me.
And what it has cost us thus far compared to what you think staying in these next 2 weeks will benefit us is so wildly incongruent with what I’m thinking.

It's always the rich motherflower that condescendingly says "money doesn't matter" to the people that need that next paycheck to survive.

I work in collections for a fortune 500 and most of my customers are small and medium sized business.
Not that this has to be said, but this is BAD. folks in business for 20 years are having to close the doors already.
