Metal Building Recommendations

Anyone pleased with their metal building supplier as far as price, quality and attention to detail?
I’m looking to building a 90’x50’ building in the MS Delta which will have a shop with concrete floor 40x50. The rest is open area with gravel for farm equipment and a camper.
Had a price 6 months ago from Reeds Metals in Brookhaven and we have since reduced the size of the building significantly but the price went up in 6 months by $4,000.00, which is hard to swallow.
Thanks gents

Steel went up last spring and early summer. This price quote is from September. Seems like the price increase would have gone through by then.

24x24 red iron from Mueller has been great. I also have a red iron 45x50 from Ideal Steel in Broussard.
The second buildingis my home and they were great to work with.
When comparing companies, compare the total weight to make sure they are about equal.

We built one around 12 years ago. We got good a price from a steel truss company who had the building up in less than two days (some time between days for concrete work and curing). I saw the receipts a few weeks back when going through some paperwork, but can't recall the exact cost.
Fast forward 8 years, and we had gotten an Amish guy to build us a 12×32 portable building for a work area and storage. The guy does great work and beats most any portable building price. Our plan was to build a lean-to on one side of the building, partially closed in, for lawn mower storage and whatnot. I drew up what I wanted, and gave it to the folks who built our metal building. The quote they gave me was outrageous. I didn't even attempt to extrapolate out to what my metal building would cost. In just 8 years time, the cost skyrocketed, especially considering the size/scope of the build.
I bought some used trusses, and have most of what I need to build the lean-to, but haven't gotten around to it.

Try Mueller out of Oak Grove, LA.

I will have to check out ACI and Mueller. Thanks!

In addition to Mueller in Oak Grove there’s also G and S metal buildings. They’ve done work for me and have been pleased

Also different companies use different gauge metal sheets. Be sure to look at this when you get a cheaper quote. When I was shopping around most companies was close in price. This was the differences I noticed between companies with a cheaper price.

Good point. I will ask about the gauge of the steel.
