The governor will be shutting office buildings down. It will be mandatory and no longer optional.

So my small CPA firm has to close? I would think I’m pretty essential right now as I am keeping the revenue flowing to the people via tax refunds and helping clients fill out SBA loans. But hey, if good ole JBE thinks I should close he can go frick himself.

I’ve cancelled all in person meetings. All material is either dropped off in a lock box outside, mailed or emailed in. My staff is scaled back to only 5 employees in the office at one time. If more than that is required to stop the spread than nothing outside of locking us inside our homes will do.

It won’t be enforced. How the frick do they know if you are on the way to a dr, grocery or home. Ain’t no way to enforce a partial stay at home order. Seems like the only real downside is no more restaurant food.

Hope the State Parks stay open, best kind of social distancing for me, I know Bayou Segnette and Chicot are currently closed.

You’ll be able to continue if these are the precautions you’re taking.

We are in an office building, and we have had conversations with the building management. Getting the impression that if our parish gets "sheltered in place", that they will basically lock the building and tell us we can come and go as needed to get files, but no more than one or two at a time. All HVAC would be turned off.
