This nation crumbles if this keeps up. No way it lasts.

Well I asked some posters the other day that were calling the people who were saying a 14 day shutdown was possible idiots if they were going to brush it off and not stock up just in case or would they rather be prepared and it not happen. I was called an idiot l, told they weren’t going to do shite and so on. Well to be honest I hope those people don’t do shite and grocery stores clothes and they starve with their ignorant asses! I still hope it doesn’t go that far but why not prepare for Incase it does but it’s coming I think!

Grocery stores won’t “clothes”
Even in Italy they aren’t

It's an adjustment but we've been doing it here in Kentucky. All of those things have closed except some retail stores, which have done so themselves out of an abundance of caution and people legitimately staying home. They've moved all of the Derby events (would've started up around this time) to the Fall. Schools have been out for several days now.

The only difference is if you're in California, they're going to lock your arse up if you can't follow some pretty basic guidelines to get everyone on the other side of this sooner rather than later. Can't say I feel sorry for anyone at this point who doesn't take it seriously.

Yeah, it will be like the last big downturn from that aspect. People that have money will make more of it.

It doesn’t. A lot of states already doing this, and all will shortly. I suppose the “shelter in place” language has people who haven’t even seen what it entails all worked up.

Basically here in NYC too.
Don’t think they we will do California though.
I trade for an Investment bank. Even though I worked from home for the first day It was very shitty. We have to remote in and it’s slow AF.
We have 1/3 in the office 1/3 at home 1/3 at our disaster recovery center. We can’t be 100% home, it’s just not feasible

Lots of restaurants won’t make it through this, demand will return to pre Kung flu levels pretty quick. There will be a shortage
