The site was designed for Healthcare workers. Trump clearly misrepresented what it was. But people want to focus on the fact that the company is a subsidiary of Google so the lies don't matter. Jesus christ you people are insane.

I responded to your OP with some observations that cast aspersions on the veracity, and honesty, of the article in question. I might also submit that Wired magazine is perhaps not the best place to go for unslanted news reporting - it might, in fact, be one of those “echo chambers” which you seem so concerned about. Your response was “Yeah, but Trump.” And yet you complain that no one here brings anything to the discussion? Physician, heal thyself.

Thats not even my focus here. But everyone wants to fixate on that. I never denied it was a subsidiary. That isn't the concern. That isn't what he lied about.

So... you seriously think that he went out there yesterday and just made shite up. That's your contention. Just flat pulled it out of thin air. That there had been no conversation about it, no nothing. He heard about something Google was doing for healthcare providers, for instance, and just flat changed it in his press conference.
