3/12 pre market thread - Futures trading HALTED for 2nd time this week.

The markets were not a fan of the speech and Nor was I.

Probably goes positive by morning after POTUS’s update on additional funding to the SBA and it’s encouragement to make low interest loans to businesses in need as well as officially asking Congress for the payroll tax cut.

Airlines probably take another beating on the halting of all travel from Europe.

Thought his comments on the economy and assurance this isn’t a financial crisis, but is a blip caused by a virus will boost confidence.

huh no. The travel thing is huge

I imagine the cargo ban is not actually real and be just misspoke

1) Goods have low risk of transmission so not really worth banning

2) World market would be crushed long term if another series of trade wars break out in the middle of this

NBA just “suspended the rest of season.”

Jazz player tested positive for Coronavirus. Not sure if they meant cancelled all teams.

Should get a buying opportunity tomorrow. May be short term trade...dunno but highly likely imo. Getting close to a support level.
