My theory on the burned footage is that Joe torched it and backed it up, handing it to Netflix once he realized the reality show wasn't going to happen.
Crazy Netflix documentary > cable reality TV show in terms of exposure and fame
Once he gets out he is set for life on this documentary alone he going ride that wave for a whole new harem of husbands

There are a few theories. One is , they are only small enough to "pet" for a few months. So , you have to keep the breading process going to have enough small cubs to use. Then, what do you do with them afterwards? Its not like a regular pet
The other is that by petting them, you are humanizing them which is bad for them and bad for us.

This is the cruel part. They're cute and pettable for a few months.
Then, they become 500 pound animals that can remove your arm and need tons of food. They can't just disappear, unless you're Doc Antle.
It isn't necessarily breeding then, but breeding them without the capacity or desire to care for them as adults.

Ok, I got it. With regard to the first part, that's what Doc Antle does. Once they're too big to pet he kills them. The second part though kinda doesn't matter if they're in captivity. I guess you would want them accustomed to humans.

I'm not sure about that. The issue is if they're too accustomed to humans, they won't be scared of a human.
Then something happens, the tiger gets pissed and **** gets real very fast. It's why Saff lost her arm.
We have mountain lions in Tucson. They will keep their distance and be scared, even though they could easily kill a person. It's when they get too comfortable with humans that they're most dangerous, because they'll get close, and that's when the bad stuff happens.

My gf and I watched some of his wrestling shows last night, yes Joe was also a wrestling promoter and even had events at the zoo. Of course he did commentary, which is perfect for his carny-ness.

There will probably be some sort of follow up but it's guaranteed that it won't be as gripping as the original series. I'm trying to be optimistic though!

Checked this out since it's getting a lot of buzz. What in the actual frick!? Seen the first 3 episodes and I hate Carole the most, bitch is doing the exact same thing yet wants to shut the others down. At least the others at Joe Exotic get paid 100 a week she pays her people nothing. She definitely killed her husband. I hate over regulation(and PETA) but there should be more laws about keeping/breeding exotic animals.
