He has to convince voters to vote against a President who has a better economy now than when he took office. Obama wont be able to debate for him. How do you convince America to vote against their pocketbooks.

Biden can’t even get an endorsement from Obama yet he will be running on Obama’s “accomplishments”. Tough spot for him to be in. He better hope O pulls the trigger on that endorsement.

Because not everyone has tons of stocks that have gone up in value. Wage increases are still not where they need to be for most Americans.

The stock market is not the end all be all. Now, is that trumps fault? Nope, not at all, just like the stock market going up isn't his doing either.

What sort of ethereal unicorn nonsense are you smoking?

Wages are exactly where the market deems they are, they dont "need" to be anywhere

Where have you been? Unemployment is at record lows. Everything took off after trump rolled back every single obama policy. Joe Biden is running on going back to bad policy.

Obama will get in line behind Biden if Uncle Joe wins the nomination. Don't kid yourself.

That’s easily spun - Obama can just say that he knew Joe was going to win the nom on his own and he’s a way more powerful GE candidate this way now that he’s earned the Obama endorsement

Also - Obama despises Trump. He campaigned like crazy in 2016 (not for Hillary, but bc he hates Trump).

Without the economy improving, companies would be closing down and jobs would go away. The unemployment numbers are better than before Obama became President and Biden does not have enough support to win.

I agree but with the fairly large caveat that the government is picking up the slack to subsidize the low wages being paid the the bottom rung of society. Taxpayers step in to feed, cloth, shelter the poor.

Don’t mistake that with me advocating for a "living wage", but it is something to think about.

The dislike for Donald Trump is VERY strong in as many as 48% of prospective November voters. A strong market is not going to influence those people to vote for Trump. They will vote for Joe Biden. Hell, most would even vote for Bernie.

the government should not be inflicting artificial pricing controls over one's labor

It's a crap tactic held over to increase the suckling of the nanny state

Biden will pick a toxic VP candidate. He already looks like death warmed over. It will be another disaster for the dimwitted dems.
