my contention is that it's actually worse to be a fan of a team with a chance that chokes or never wins the big one or has some crazy shite happen to them than it is to be a fan of a perennial loser.
for instance, it has just sucked a lot more being a fan of georgia football than it has for georgia basketball.

Agreed
Georgia Basketball doesn’t have a big fanbase with high expectations

Yea they’re up there. Since they’re such a valuable franchise with a fanbase that always shows up.
Knicks fans are also pretty depressing.

Cleveland Browns....they’ve literally caused me high blood pressure and anxiety lol. It’s been absolutley brutal. I’d trade places with ANY NFL fan base!
Yeah Browns are the clear answer. All
The heartbreak in the 80s. The real Browns leave town with Ozzie Newsome and quickly become one of the most successful franchises in the 21st century with two Super Bowl wins. Adding insult to injury they are in the same division and get their asses kicked by them twice a year. New Browns are a punchline with one playoff game in twenty years, which they choked away to their other hated rival.

Been a dolphin fan for all of my 35 years and it has been nothing but mediocracy. Besides a few memories from Marino’s final years there has been nothing to get excited about. Hell we can’t even tank right. Every win this year pissed me off...besides the pats win of course :)

Easily, the dumbest fricking answer anyone could possibly come up with for this question.

Redskins have won super bowls
If he is talking about during the Dan Snyder era I agree..
But it has to be Cleveland.

I would still say the Clippers... they’re a title contender but still an afterthought in their own city

Literally 2 days ago you were ready to concede Kawhi not coming lmao

I still say the Jets have it tougher
The Jets made back to back AFC Title Games in 2009 and 2010, and you think they have had it worse than the Browns/Lions/Bills? C'mon dude.

Bengals
They’re so irrelevant no one even mentioned them yet.
The Browns have a lot of history... before most of us were born.

Bills went to 4 consecutive super bowls and lost all 4.
Nothing more heartbreaking to a real fan than this. I'm talking an in your feelings fan. As great an accomplishment as it was/is how do you go about bragging about it? Every year it was gonna be different and it just got worse as for the game itself. Would have sucked fricking horribly.

Cleveland Indians.
Longest current WS title drought, losing in extra innings of game 7 of the World Series twice in 2 years. The latter of those times was to the Cubs, who had previously had the longest title drought.

Yeah, “The Drive” and “The Fumble” were the first (of many) gut-wrenching losses I’ve endured as a Cleveland sports fan FML

LMAO at Redskins and Cowboys fans who I have seen dominate and win rings and think they have had it bad. You don't even know. Browns fans have at least experienced playoff runs.
right, but the Lions have and always will be shite. you know what you are.
Redskins and Cowboys fans have tasted the prize, I’d argue it’s worse to mainline a drug and quit cold turkey than never having heard of the drug in the first place

Yeah, Indians were up by a run in bottom of the 9th of Game 7 vs Marlins, but couldn’t close it out and lost in extra innings ugh.
