What is your favorite Joe Burrow TD pass from last season?

There are plenty to choose from, but mine is the 2nd TD pass to Chase against Clemson. The throw was perfect and the DB had no shot on the route.

Bonus on that TD was seeing Gordy Rush celebrate near all the photographers in the back of the endzone.

I think his best passes weren't TD passes. I like the two almost identical passes that he dropped in to Chase on the sidelines. The one against Texas and the one against Alabama.

the TD to Moss just before half after his long run - it really hit me at that moment that this thing is ours. the Dome was rocking too. The TD right before half to break the single game TD record against OU was insane too. But if I had to only pick one, I'd go with 3rd and 17. being in that stadium and hearing it go dead silent after a play like that was incredible. It's tough to pick between 60 TDs

as many big plays this game had, and as many points, and as early as this play was..........i believe THIS PLAY set the tone for the offense for the entire game.

Top 5:

1. TD to Jefferson just before the half vs Texas. That was a Brees style back shoulder beauty that was the indicator to me that this year was going to be special for Burrow.

2. 1st TD to Chase vs Bama. Was kind of an underthrow (could argue it was back shoulder as well), but as lot of us have stated before, it was the sigh of relief that we were finally over the hump of being completely inept against Bama and that it was on.

3. 3rd and 17. Pass wasn't exactly pretty, but his maneuvering in the pocket and getting the ball out before the hit was a master stroke.

4. 2nd TD to Chase vs Ole Miss. Was almost a carbon copy of the 1st TD that game, but this one was just a little prettier and a gorgeous on-a-dime throw.

5. 3rd TD to Jefferson vs Oklahoma. Essentially a mix of my #1 and #4. I audibly squealed.

Honorable mention:

1st TD to Chase vs Clemson. Mainly because of how it snapped the team out of the funk and let everyone know we could play with Clemson. Plus, it was right in front of Saban.

number 60 was huge.

It sealed the natty, it was a beautiful throw and Marshall drug his nuts all over that corner.

Just a great exclamation point to the season

Underrated choice was the TD to Clyde right before half against Bama

Obviously there are MANY to choose from, but I agree with you. That TD pass was a thing of beauty. He let it go right before Chase came out of his break and the ball was so perfectly thrown it was as if it was just waiting there for Chase to come grab it. Not only did the Clemson CB have no chance to stop that completion, but NO DB in football pro or college would have had a chance to prevent it. Truly just a perfect throw.

My close 2nd would be the first TD vs. Bama. After so many years of frustration offensively, LSU takes the opening drive and rolls 90+ yards, like a freight train, with BDS going nuts, culminating in a throw/catch that made the DB look completely helpless. While we had hoped it was the case going into the game at that point we KNEW it was a different year and different LSU team from those in years past. The shot had been fired across the bow. It was GAME ON!

That’s the moment those pussies realized Les Miles wasn’t here anymore. That drive was as much of a statement as I’ve seen made by this program.

The one to Clyde at halftime of the Bama game, Saban wanted to get cute and it cost him big time

I know Ole Miss was a sloppy game, but I can't remember Burrow looking better in a single half, aside from Oklahoma. I'm not sure of his stats in that 1st half, but it was as good as I saw him all season.

There are so many to pick from.

1a) 3rd and 17 to Jefferson.
1b) the one before half to Clyde vs Bama.
1c) the first Bama TD to chase.
1d) the last TD against Florida to chase.
1e) the first TD against Clemson to chase.
1f) the last TD be Clemson to Marshall.
1g)the one to Jefferson just before halftime vs UT.
1h) the TD to Dillon vs State where Burrow climbed the pocket and delivered a perfect strike in the back of the end zone.

I could keep going but you get the point.

Did not want to start a thread on this but I was reading a column about the woes of North Western Wildcats.

The columnist pointed out that Joe Burrow had more td passes in the first half against Oklahoma than NW qbs had the entire season.

I won't laugh at this. We had 10 all of 2010.
