Probably because there isn't, but American English speakers have a tendency to sharpen aspiration sounds to the closest sound they are familiar with.

it's not really a "k" sound, but more of a guttural sound that westerners pronounce as a k

Why is there an "r" sound in Colonel? Clearly no "r" in that word either. Why do the British pronounce Lieutenant as "Leftenant" when there is clearly no "f" in that word.

Languages are weird. Get over it.

I don't think it's a hard 'c' like Mockmood. It's an 'ah' where the h sounds kind of like your hocking a loogey.

It amazes me that some people think foreign words should be pronounced like they were English words.

You must not be from the south Louisiana area then.

Clearly no “c” or “k”
Having worked in several Arabic-speaking countries I can attest that their people sound like they are constantly clearing their throat when they talk.

Odd.

Confirmed that Chris Jackson will not be on his retired jersey this weekend. The racist melt will be glorious.
