Some people around the league believe the Warriors acquired Andrew Wiggins and a 1st-Round Pick in hopes of forming a trade package for Giannis Antetokounmpo in the future, per @EricPincus.

Don’t see how Milwaukee turns that down honestly.

(ETA this is sarcasm)

Giannis is a lock to go to Dallas once he becomes a FA. Donnie Nelson has know. him since he was 13 and it’s clear we are building the ultimate Euro team.

Cuban’s comments a couple years ago was foreshadowing when he said the way American players play basketball is all street crap and not fundamentally sound and he was spot on. The Mavericks have played 4D chess and are miles ahead of every other organization in the league regarding this.

I personally don’t think Giannis is leaving Milwaukee

Just doesn’t seem like that kind of dude

That’s a laughable trade offer and it would go straight from the fax machine to the shredder.

Lmao. Nobody is trading the best player in the World. Giannis is like Lebron, he goes where he wants and demands what money he wants

The Warriors didn't acquire Wiggins because they think the player himself is a good asset. They acquired Wiggins because they will need his big contract to help match salary, Wiggins is still very young, and they got an extra pick from the Russell trade to add to their potential trade capital.

The media is trying to force Giannis rumors so they can speculate about deals/trades, then talk about the deal/trade, then spend months talking about what small market teams can do.

Hey slapdicks, maybe stop telling every player they have to go to a top 5 market to be relevant when nothing could be further from the truth. If you’re a great player with a great coach and a great front office, you can win and be consistently be relevant. Kevin Durant became the best player in the world in OKC. Tim Duncan won 5 championships in San Antonio. Giannis is the best player in the world in Milwaukee.

This old mentality that you have to be in LA or NY to get a great endorsement deal is asinine. You want endorsements then there are two things you have to do to get them - Be a great player and win.
