Obviously we have 3 talented arms going that will give us a chance to win any game during a weekend series.

But, what moves would you make in the line up to get things going? I know PM came out and said Millazo would catch two games and Hughes would be back at short, also Toups will get a look in left. Do y’all agree with those moves?

I love the fact that we have a lot of young talent that can contribute in multiple ways. However, I’m not a fan of musical chairs. I like to see a kid get a fair shot and not just 1 or 2 games to see how he performs. I’m hoping one of the young guys can get hot and stick somewhere.

Honestly, with a young team like this one, I like that Mainieri hasn’t set a lineup in stone. The best lineup will come together as the season progresses.

I agree with that. Walker was off big time against Nicholls, I hope he is able to find his command this year. I was really hoping we would have a solidified midweek starter this season.

I actually like what PM is doing, i usually dont totally agree with his lineup, but i do now. Id keep tinkering like he is doing, but i think toups needs to be in there

He has to be deep in the dog house. I assumed that he would be pushing for a starting position somewhere.

Man we strutted Eric walker out there on the mound. That should have done it, walker would have brought us home hardware a few years back. He had a horrible night and it's a bitch to come back from that.

We gonna be alright. We'll toss some games early figuring out who fits where. It was just very tough to watch walker struggle like that.

He’s trying to get away from all or nothing type hitters which I logically agree with. But my heart says this is the recruiting class you wanted. You brought this girl to the prom now you need to dance with her and see what happens.

My heart is a fricking Neanderthal that loves the long ball so take what it says with a grain of salt.

Or, he still can’t throw the ball.

I get that thought, but at the same time, he will still have garza, beloso, and cabrera in the lineup. Just wants to get a more contact oriented guy like toups in there. Dugas isnt really a homerun guy. We are talking about travinski and bianco

Sheeet, Bubba! I’d have them pitchers throw more strikes...make them batters try to hit it.

Then, I’d have them batters swinging! Fk situation baseball, just put that little ball in play. Slap the piss out of it

Pretty simple concept for dem ball players! No reason for that yankee coach to over think it.

No no no like I said I logically agree with what he’s doing. But i also think it would be fun to see like 9 homeruns in a game between Cabrera, Beloso, Garza, Travinski, Bianco, Dugas and Hampton all in the same lineup. Not realistic but goddammit that doesn’t stop me from wanting it

How many times will you strike out (pun intended) with the hottest girl before you move on to the girl that you will at least let you get to first base (another pun) though?

Which one is more likely to happen, 9 HRs in a game between those, or 20 Ks between them? Easy answer huh.
