lol did the same!
drinking age was 18 back then and driving was 15....
but we usually went to the pool house outside of town and sat in the parking lot till a nice person would help.
they would charge two bottles of boones farm for buying us eight bottles.
never once were we cheated on our "order"!

I had one in college, worked pretty good, but didn’t know Winn Dixie’s policy was to scan all ID’s in the register and sadly it got confiscated

Not a fake, but I was using my older brother's ID to buy beer when I was 16

Yup, got a fake from Mr.ID in Houston the summer before starting college and used it without issue for a few months until I used it at a gas station that was apparently under surveillance by the ABC. Shitty feeling walking out of the gas station ready to party and see the silver durangos converge

girlfried at the time got me one for my 17th birthday but I susupect it was mainly so i could be her alcohol. Used it till I was 20 and 8 months till I lost my dern wallet. So had to go back to under under 21 for those last 4 month but by then I was well established with the local college bars and didnt need it anymore anyways

Yes. It got me out of a DUI.
Said he wouldnt give me the DUI but arrested me for posession of forged instrument. Had to spend the night in drunk tank.
I got caught by changing 2 lanes (with blinker) "too fast" because i forgot to stop for cokes on the way home until i saw the grocery store.
Could have been worse![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/icons/shrug.gif)

Before digital cameras the military would have you hold a board up with your information and take a picture. The soldiers were responsible for putting their own information on the board. Every 18-20 year old in my unit had a military ID showing they were 21.

Yeah, a fake LSU student ID.
Some friends and I bought them from some guy in a back office at Scarlet O'Hara's, back in the mid 80's. They cost us $75 and looked entirely authentic. He had a box full of blanks that almost had to be lifted from LSU. We got to pick our names and info and he took our photos. It got us in to some incredible basketball and football games. I was out of college and never went to LSU.

Never needed one. Me and some buddies would always go to this one gas station to buy beer. No one ever goes this gas station. To buy you show her your penis. Worked for awhile until she got busted. Happened to be my turn to go in. Got a MIP.

In the 80s in Louisiana you didn't need a fake ID. In the 70s people would send their kids in the store to buy beer and cigarettes for them so they didn't have to get out of the car.
However to get a fake ID, all you had to do was bring a friends birth certificate to the dmv and say you lost your license.
