Neil Young is a disgrace to humanity.

This fricker just became a citizen of the US last month...This is all a publicity stunt...What a POS..

Well, that’s one way to make sure Trump keeps using his song at the rallies.

It does. Rockin' in the Free World is an anti-capitalism song. It highlights the miserable lives of the poor and marginalized.

Neil Young is an iconic musician, and I personally love his music.
Unfortunately, like most mega rich celebrities, he thinks his fame and wealth gives him more credibility than the average working stiff in middle America on issues outside of music. Like we should default to his (and other "smarter" celebrities) opinions and beliefs because they are obviously superior intellects.
Just shut and play the fricking songs.

There are fewer things sadder than ageing hippies, rockers, and revolutionaries.

And probably still don't shave their armpits.

Who is in that 1% besides Ted Nugent?

I'll guarantee this tick turd's lifetime carbon footprint dwarfs your average Joe. When he sells all his shite and moves into a carbon free shack or cave I'll consider his opinion. Until then, STFU!

Unlike the US, I do not recognize dual citizenship. He's a fricking Canadian.

Why do people on this board get so worked up over someone else's opinion?

What, Canada? Dude is not even from here. He had a song about Bush Jr. called "Let's Impeach the President." He's been getting carried away with politics for some time now.
Some time=1971, he wrote Ohio. He's always been political, hell he even supported Reagan in the 80s. Separate the songs from the politics folks. Just because Ted Nugent is a conservative it doesn't make him a better songwriter than Ray Davies or Joe Strummer. It's perfectly okay to hate his politics but still like his songs. (Also liking Neil Young's music does not mean you are shitting on Lynard Skynard as a result.)
