What do you feel is "right"?

Define "fight".

Define a "right" (the enumerated individual imperative as free from societal obligation or infringement as is separate from the notion of purity denoted above).

I figured as much. And it's fine with me that my opinion is in the minority on that among conservatives. I don't have to worry about it anyways because the Government already does provide me my healthcare.

At any rate, what we really need is a medical revolution. We need better medical technology. Which they do have. We just gotta figure a way to get them to come off of it.

Denmark, the Country Bernie used in his example tonight is. What Bernie failed to mention is that Denmark's population is smaller than the city of New York+ the surrounding areas.

Also, have you ever seen the public hospitals in England or France? They're outdated and understaffed.

“What is right?”

Dipshit. There’s no moral authority to compel you to pay for others’ care from a third party’s money. GTFO with that weak shite.

No. Examine your philosophy. Why have you the right to another's labor?

Sure Denmark is small. What about The UK, Germany, France, or the entirety of the EU? Hell, even Mexico, who we have to build a wall against has socialized healthcare.

the Constitution only gave the federal government a handful of responsibilities and one of them was to provide for the general welfare of the public. In my opinion that can be read as medical care.

James Madison wrote the constitution. Why didn’t President Madison make it clear that “general welfare” meant medical care, and demand implementation of Madicare?

No need to examine my philosophy. As I said, my care is already paid in full for life anyways. I don't really have a dog in this hunt.

I gave my opinion and you don't agree. And I'm okay with that.

I want to know why you have the right to the labor of another human being.

Not one political opponent can offer a reasonable and philosophically sound explanation for this weak tenet of pandering.

Should one of Prince Williams kids develop cancer, you think they’re coming to St Jude or going through NHS?

Paying for private insurance is literally paying for others healthcare. You're paying for those others with the same insurance company as you. Right? Why not pay for your fellow Americans insurance at no increase to you?

Me paying for private insurance is me voluntarily entering into an agreement which I view to be beneficial to me.

You’re too dumb for this conversation. Stick to the initial dumb question and then leave the thread.

Why can every other first world country have healthcare for all?

First of all, it’s breaking the bank and the effectiveness of the health care systems across the globe. Many countries are trying to figure out how to allocate finite health care resources without going bankrupt, and they are mostly doing it with wait times, denial of services for a growing number of health conditions, and a multi-tiered system where the wealthy still pay for private insurance (not too unlike what we have in this country).

Secondly, the U.S. is financing the research and development of the cutting edge medicines and methods which the rest of the world gets at a huge discount.

Thirdly, the U.S. is providing military security for the free world, which allows other countries to spend their money on universal health care.

Lastly, the U.S. is going into massive debt. It’s spending money on a huge government and some significant amount is sent to other countries. The world seems to be relying on the good credit of the U.S. All of this spending must eventually be accounted for. The credit card bill is going to come in the mail eventually.

Negative ghostrider, perhaps you refer to a "privilege" (VA healthcare).

Absolutely not a right to the labor of another.

We all need to understand that this is THE slippery slope of our time. I need not even go back one single generation to explain why (USSR).

Your access to health is already far greater than those in these “1st” world countries you are talking about.

You have greater access and better care?

Why do you want to go backwards?
