Make Jack Del Rio say no.

Seriously, Paul needs to step down and we need new blood in this program. Year after year we underachieve with loads of talent. It’s been the same shite the last few years... we drop easy mid week games, lose close games by being out coached, etc... It’s a crime that we haven’t won a title since 2009 with the talent that’s rolled through LSU.
We have not been very talented as of late. Pitching went from leading the league for years to bottom four the last two years. Hitting has been a serious problem in recent years. Baseball has a lot more parity, and LSU is not getting the stars that it used to. Look at the number of LSU’s best players in recent years that had to come back for their senior seasons just because they weren’t the elite of the elite that we got used to seeing.

Go fricking frick yourself. People like you are why LSU is mediocre in baseball. I'd be embarrassed if I were you.

I’d be embarrassed if I were you getting that worked up over a baseball game.
You may need to talk to someone, you seem pretty angry.

We’re literally 5 games into the season.

Who would you replace Paul with? I swear to god if you name a high school coach, I will have admins delete your account.
Relax. You don’t have that kind of power.

Of course I don’t but if 98% of the rest of the rant is just going to shitpost, sometimes you’ve got to join in.

I don't know if I agree with Paul needing to step down or not, but if so..
I think LSU would need to explore all top options and make them say no. I would definitely look at Texas Tech and TCU coaches. Yes, I realize one is at his alumni, but you still make him say no. You never know with money and prestige. They would likely have even greater success at LSU (IMO).
This is still the ultimate baseball program.
There are several other coaches you make say no. People asking who would you replace him with? Okay? As if he is the only good coach around? LSU just replaced a similar HC with a guy virtually nobody wanted and look at the impact it had. As long as LSU athletics are established you can afford to make a change when needed.
If all else fails, as unpopular of an opinion as it may be, I would consider the "high school" coach in Andy Cannizaro. Yes, he did something incredibly stupid. I just can't see him doing it again, but I understand the risk. I think the reward could pay off huge though. In fact, I think LSU would be incredibly feared under him. I think he would take LSU to another level in recruiting (yes, I realize recruiting is still elite here.)
He would probably connect more with the players.
Again, I am not ready to fire Paul just yet. He does seem to get his teams rolling later in the season. Let's see.

Serious question. Is it the ultimate program?
I bet Texas and Norte dame think they are the ultimate football programs still, but time changes all things.

It’s definitely not the ultimate program anymore. Several SEC schools have more juice than us right now and there are programs around the country that are out recruiting us yearly. It’s frankly embarrassing that we still have “the intimidator” out there.
LSU baseball has become a speed bump in the SEC and a total yawn fest to watch.

If we do hire someone else I’m sure anyone not named Corbin would take the LSU Baseball gig.

It’s embarrassing to have a billboard with your past national championships on it? Yea you’re right we shouldn’t have that anywhere to honor those teams. LSU is the only school ever to have these things up
