People that are too busy playing on their phones to pay attention that the short light for the left turn lane just turned green, thus forcing everyone behind them to have to wait for another cycle. I swear to God, I'm just going to start honking as soon as the light turns green.

1. Making I-10 reduce to one lane over New bridge.
2. Not properly timing stop lights
3. Refusing to build an additional Ms River bridge.
4. Building a new bridge in St. Francisville that serves only 3 people a day instead of locating it where it would benefit BR.

Is that by all the streets that were built where it is next to impossible to turn right onto (Yazoo)? That is a ratchet lil hood but who designed those damned streets?

The stretch of road where Perkins runs into highland @ I-10. Whoever designed this with the 6 traffic lights all Not synced Together needs to be beaten with a hammer.

The traffic backs up because there are 6 lights that all have to change (and for everyone to pay attention and not stare at their phones) That one section of road is responsible for so much traffic

Making a left from Essen on to Jefferson is fricking maddening. Most of the time there are 3 car lengths between vehicles turning. And, for some reason, people negotiate that turn like it's on top of a mountain with no shoulder or guard rail.

See Nicholson at Skip Bertman.
See Perkins at Perkins Rowe.
See Bluebonnet at Jefferson.
See College and 10 West.

It's awful.

Pretty much all the major surface streets in this city don't have any sort of properly timed lights.

Whoever timed the lights on Airline Hwy needs to be covered in honey and thrown on an ant pile.

As opposed to what? Would you rather them go up to Bob Pettit and try to turn left there (causing just as much backup) ? Maybe go to Gourrier since there’s actually a left turn lane there and just make the whole block? I think you’re confusing preventable obstacles caused by idiots with poorly designed roads that everyone is forced to suffer with

While this is not human error, it is oversight by mayor/DOTD/anyone. This has been a problem for years. So, no, not the driver's fault but why can't there be a left turn there?

Another one... People who take left turns at intersections with multiple left turn lanes, but don't realize where there lane is supposed to end up. For example:
1) Eastbound I-10 exit ramp, turning left onto Seigen.
2) Westbound I-10 exit ramp turning left onto Essen.

People take these turns without following the striping, and they end up merging into other lanes while they are turning. If I take the inside lane, I have to actively make sure the person next to me isn't a dumbass veering into my lane during the turn.

People trying to be nice instead of following basic traffic laws.

1) I'm a pedestrian on a busy street waiting because the cross traffic just got a green light. Driver doesn't budge and tries to flag me across. JUST GO!!!

2) 4-Way stop. Guy gets there before me but tries to wave me through. You got there first. GO!!!!

Any city:

Waving people through at a 4 way stop.

People that stop short of a 4 way stop then creep up to it confusing the order of things.

People that don’t go when the light turns green

People that slow roll through a green light

People who leave 4 car lengths between them and the car in front of them at stop signs and red lights

People that let someone in after they drive a mile in the turn lane just to merge over right before they have to turn to skip traffic.

All attributed to cell phone usage.

Trying to turn left into the dominos on Lee any time between 3-7PM is a suicide mission, people in the backed up close lane like to try to let you through, which is nice but it just leaves you completely blind to the wide open right lane which may or may not have a car coming straight at you going 45
