What is right is that they are staying with their stuff, not abandoning it. That's the right thing to do.
Why?

Is this another one of your "facts?" Because it's very wrong.
Why don't you try answering one of my questions.
Be honest... have you ever been to a parade in NOLA?
If so, where do you stand?

I've spent the night out there enough times as recently as last year

Crowds have grown over last 10-15 years as well.
Seems to me they've just sort of shifted, but not really grown.
You can stroll into the garden district and get a good spot for any parade just before or during, nowadays. A lot of the activity from there seems to have moved down to the area of Superior to Napoleon, where everyone now seems to be jockeying for and "claiming" spots from Wednesday to Fat Tuesday.
The more recent Magazine route so many parades are now taking has also changed a lot of the dynamics.

Then you've also seen people put there and been on of those people. Congrats on blowing up your own point
I take what I said back... you must be from here... because your reading comprehension is what I would expect from an older public school graduate.

Unless it is 4 hours before the parade. Then it totally does.

Fair points, as I tend to stand in that Superior to Napoleon area, where the crowd has certainly grown and the claiming is a big issue.

You said all the stuff was left out there with no one attending it. Then you say you yourself have been out there. Don't get mad at me that you can't keep up with all your bullshite you've posted.

No it doesn't.
According to the current rules it sure does. I don't really care about your opinion.

City wanted something closer to 1-2 hours. 4 was a compromise.

I actually agree with this.

You're getting so close to realizing this is a waste of time

Link to the rules? I'm not saying that's not in the rules, I'd just be interested in reading them if they're available.

Nah. It's not at all a waste of time.
Learn to tell time, if you want to abandon your property.
