How old is a 15lb largemouth bass? Heard a guy caught one out of Sam Rayburn.

In other Sam Rayburn news: Talk about a honey hole:

I’ve always heard about a pound per year. But, it’s mostly dependent on food supply and environmental conditions.

You can hang them in a cooler for about a week at 40 degrees.
Some people ice them to bleed them but that’s not the right way...........

You Tube

Not really how to age a bass but sort of relevant. It's a good listen when you have 30 mins.
