1,100 ex-Justice Department officials call for Barr’s resignation

WaPo is running with this story. The signatures were gathered by a left-wing group, Protect Democracy. I assume they mean that title to be unironic.
So once again we have the confluence (collusion?) of Left-wing Democrats and the MSM trying to bully Trump by swaying public opinion.
And of course the "outrage" is over AG Barr not believing that lying to Congress (I'm looking at you, Adam Schiff) warrants spending nine years in the slammer.

More than 1,100 former Justice Department employees signed a public letter Sunday urging Attorney General William P. Barr to resign over his handling of the case of President Trump’s longtime friend Roger Stone — and exhorted current department employees to report any unethical conduct.
The letter is the latest sign of a crisis of confidence inside the department. Four prosecutors quit the Stone case last week after Barr and other Justice Department leaders pushed for a softer prison recommendation for Stone, who is due to be sentenced this week.
The four prosecutors had originally recommended a prison sentence of seven to nine years for Stone after he was convicted of lying to Congress and obstruction. The president publicly attacked that recommendation, and at Barr’s urging the Justice Department filed an updated sentencing memo suggesting Stone should receive less prison time.

There is a reason they are Ex-employees.

If they are truly for democracy, they should not be concerned with investigations - as convictions require trial by jury.
No crimes, no worries.

It's okay, they're allowed to their opinions.
Anybody who doesn't think that Bill Barr, Durham, and the other US Attorneys investigating DC Swamp corruption don't strike mortal fear into the hearts of most Congressmen is fooling themselves. Just look at the panic they're throwing up.

This means Durham is getting close.

I’ve seen that on twitter. And they’re saying like 85% of the signatures are former GOP DOJ appointees.

That's like saying that "multiple DoD employees" think Esper should resign when it turns out they are E1s busted down by him when he was in command.
