This thing was totally staged and insincere. I was an Astros fan in 2017, but I hope they go 0-162 in 2020.

Since I don't recognize you from any of the previous scandal threads or game threads of years past, I'm gonna say this.
Yankees fans that are knowledgeable realize this charade needs to end with the quickness.
I'm waiting for DeRosa to expound on things. Best friend of McCann, with a voice on MLBN.
The Red Sox won't take the penalty the Astros received, but will suffer consequences. The more this topic stays lit, the better chance the Yankees are gonna get directly involved.
I know there's some Yankee fans, knowledgeable and not, that think Altuve cheated them in their last game. I've even listened to MLBN experts talk about it and wonder how he could be so clutch vs Chapman.
I've rewatched that inning multiple times. Chapman threw 20 something pitches in that inning. Know how many FBs he threw for strikes?

He was wild and couldn't get his FB over. 2-0 count to Altuve, he threw a slider middle, breaking slightly to inner half, because it was all he could get over and didn't want to go 3-0. Came back with same pitch, except it started outside corner breaking to middle.
Altuve was sitting on it because Chapman could not throw a FB strike.

This is compiled data of the sign-stealing usage in 2017. Take a good look at the numbers when the scheme was being actively used. Now, realize that the Astros hit .279 overall at home in 2017. You can see that Crane is lying. It obviously did impact the game, but not in the way you dipshits are screaming about. Keep the ridicule coming from your elevated moral positions.

The "everyone else was doing it" is relevant, even though Astros fans keep getting shite on for it. That doesn't mean anybody thinks it was right or that they shouldn't have been punished. GM gone, coach gone, public apologies.. they deserve it, it's what happens when you get caught. All of that is fine.
