3000 yds, 2 1000 yd receivers with a serviceable QB, but continue your narrative.

There may be underlying reasons why he hired him, read where SL has ties to Doug Nussmeier, who has a son that is an elite QB out of Texas, maybe it helps them land him next year. Both SL and DN have ties to Saban also, maybe it gives a leg up to LSU in landing him.

Cam Cameron 2.0, and that guy was worthless at coaching and recruiting, but let everyone wet their pants because he coached in the nfl

I’m reminded of a first person story from a parent of a TE on the team at the time.
At Ole Miss, (when we wore the all white I forget the year) After the game, Steve Ensminger had to be restrained from going after Cam Cameron because Cameron wouldn’t stand up to Les Miles interfering with the offense.
I highly doubt Steve would allow Linehan to be Cameron 2.0 and I pray Ed won’t be Les 2.0.

Linehan had a long and storied career in a little outfit known as the National Football League, ever heard of it? The guy has been successful everywhere he has been and O pulled a coup getting him on staff. The 2020 offense is going to make the 2019 offense look like peewee football, just watch. Seems like the haters are just out for Ceauxch Oeaux again!

I trust O and his decision.

Honestly,
I am skeptical about both the Pelini and the Linehan hire.
I do not like rehashes of things. I hope that I am wrong.

More like Miles put shackles on Cameron, especially after that Georgia shootout game. You could see Miles getting antsy with that kind of offense even though a lot of us found it thrilling. Lol

Right, now I'm not sure about this hire, it just has me feeling unsure. I hope the great offense we saw this past season continues, but I just don't know right now, we'll see.

I'll help you, it won't.

It doesn't matter if we kept Joe Brady and added Andy Reid as his co-PGC, what we saw last season will not continue.

Then why hire Linehan who does not know how to run the spread?

but why not get a spread guy for PGC?

our OC and PGC aren't spread guys but all of our analysts are, and so is our offense (allegedly). just seems like there is no synergy

Yeah, I know what you're saying, it's very hard to replace a Burrow and that kind of production, but when I said great offense I was talking more about just how it was being run. I just don't see how a Linehan fits in with that.

I promise you this guy is more qualified to walk into this position than Brady was.

I’m rather surprised no one from TD got the job with all the football coach experts around here

You think, maybe, our NC coach knows what he’s doing ? I’m going to go with Os instincts after actually being involved in the process rather than coming here and acting like I know better.
