-Jeffrey Skilling
-Piyush Jindal (R)
-Pete Buttigieg (D)
are of examples of products these consultants have produced. It seems there is a lack of conscience. A factory for sociopaths.

And yet most elite MBAs would give a testicle to work there... Makes you think.

If only there was a board for this...

I don't know about that, but if I were making business decisions I'd mostly avoid them.
McKinsey hires based on high IQ and that's not exactly what you need to make a business succeed. You do need intelligent people, certainly. But when they're the ones making decisions about strategy and design, super-smart people tend to get things wrong.

Why is Pete a scumbag?

Pete Buttigieg is your example of a complete sociopath with no conscience?

No. They are an exceptional think tank that has provided insight to many of the most successful companies in the world......and got that way AFTER consulting them.
But, by all means, continue the politically-angled witch hunt.

As a former management consultant, I can tell you it’s not a great culture. They give the industry a bad name.

I'd put street smart up against book smart any day.

Don’t know about scumbags, but my company spent a small fortune with those guys as they constantly retooled our division. After about 3 overhauls, our division continued to make about the same amount of money we always did, which was always a substantial return.
The biggest change they got implemented was a change in salesman’s compensation. Thanks McKinsey... my last 5 years, I made a lot more money than I would have before.

The company I work for used a lot of McKinsey and BCG in the past. A few were really good and usually got a nice position afterwards. I think an internal consulting group would have been just as good though because most of the time they poached pieces of work that were already done then passed it off as their own.
I’m not hating on them. They got into Harvard and that’s the prize at the end.

I mean, if your criteria for deeming a company a “bunch of scumbags” is finding half a dozen people who worked there who you are not aligned with politically, just go ahead and say you hate every company that employs more than 100 people.

Skilling is clearly a scumbag. Jindal was in over his head as a governor and focused on running for president based on no qualifications besides being a minority Republican. Naive, yes. Scumbag, no?
And Buttigieg? What has he done that is remotely scummy? Of the mainstream candidates in the race, he and Yang are the two that show the least contempt for people, by far.

Looks like they have done a bunch of shady stuff... Much like many LSU alumni.

I mean why listen to the schmucks that have worked in some business for decades. Hire a bunch of trendy suits to do dirty work all whilst telling everyone how awesome and smaaaaaat they are.
