Such a ridiculous phrase. Easily the most trite phrase used in politics today.

Yeah, why think twice about whether you're following a Stalin, Franco, or Mussolini?

Some of the guys on this board might be as dumb as they sound, I may be giving them too much credit.

I don't have any evidence of it, but I know it's true.

See, that’s a stupid way of justifying that phrase.

“You’re on the wrong side of history” implies that you have some sort of crystal ball that can see 75-100 years into the future and gauge how that time period will judge the current one. THAT is what history is.

And that’s why it’s such a trite, meaningless phrase. Sounds good to the bottom-feeders, though.

So now he drops it over time on a podcast? The interviewers couldn't get a word in. Rudy seems a bit unhinged with this...which may just be frustration. It's friggin strange

75% of the Poli Talk board has turned into that gullible, dorky, idiot dad that's always portrayed by the media on TV shows and commercials.

How fricking stupid do you have to be to not understand that when someone actually has groundbreaking news they don't have to market it as "Groundbreaking News!!" They just release the info

Luckily the "right side of history" isn't permanent. We've seen recently how the population's opinion of history/historical figures can change over time.

Exactly. History is fluid while it’s being made. Which makes the phrase utterly ridiculous when applied in context to current events.

Dude, just because you like fricking dogs doesn't mean you have to air it out here.

Wow, such a grand statement

Care to back that up with any proof? Or are you going to hee haw around like you have been doing?

It's funny how much you leaned into this line of thinking. You're a simpleton if you think people are voting for Trump because he's a Clint Eastwood father figure, and not because of the insane direction the progressives are trying to take this country.

We've been doing this dance for centuries and there are some important red flags that pop up and you can say, "I remember this from somewhere" and then avoid making the same mistakes.

Or you can throw it out the window for political expediency in the present.

So the progressives are driving us over a cliff and in your desperation you've jumped onto another cart. You haven't checked where this one is going and it's heading off a cliff too.
