In theory, the EV powertrain has fewer moving parts and should outlast an ICE - all things being equal.
The variables I see is Tesla battery life and the fact that ICE longevity from established manufacturers is already very good (200,000+ miles).

I’m talking model 3
No because I think they are second to a Prius in FUGLY
I'd own a Model S, however.

Cyber truck is worth looking St. It is definitely function over form though.
The words cyber and electric do not mix with muddy water and gooseneck trailers.
They are for the person who makes the odd trip to home depot on the weekend which honestly is most truck buyers.

How long does it take to charge these things? If I'm on a long trip and I'm getting low on battery, what are the options?

This is the issue especially in the south, there are a grand total of 6 supercharging stations in the state of LA, other than that it is overnight, better plan well.

Thanks. That is a problem. How long does it take at a supercharging station?

Never mind. I googled.
Tesla supercharging stations charge with up to 150 kW of power distributed between two cars with a maximum of 150 kW per car, depending on version. They take about 20 minutes to charge to 50%, 40 minutes to charge to 80%, and 75 minutes to 100% on the original 85 kWh Model S.

You can plan long drives with a stop for lunch while you recharge the car, but I'd probably just rent a car same as I do now anyway.
