Ah, hadn't seen that reported anywhere.

Had only seen the 26% obese and figured that was along the lines of La population

“It’s going to be a tough two weeks” DJT—not sure I’ve ever heard him so so somber.
I’ve never been sad after he’s spoken .. I’m beyond sad so someone give me some good news.
Please?

4246 deaths globally today so far. -redacted cancer stat comparison here miscalculated- Looks like the good numbers from Sunday were just an anomaly unfortunately

Wish I could. He's just been rambling nonsense from that statement on.

Meh. Trump is going to ride this shite to a reelection. Solid plan too. I hope it works.

Oh I hope he’s re-elected without a doubt but damn he’s coming across as way somber.

OT has gotten to the point where they don't even believe Trump, anymore. We're in InfoWars territory now.

The next two weeks will put this little virus in the record books. Major hospitals are bringing in refrigerated trucks. Do the math.

When's this gonna end? Can we not shame people for this?

It won’t hit the record books, will likely be the worst strain on the medical system in our lives though, with long lasting impacts.

What percentage of Louisiana's are 'clinically' obese?
More than most of the "northern states" man.

With that said, I don't believe that America is going to see 100,000 deaths. You mean to tell me that we are going to get, if we are around 4000 now, about 24x more deaths than currently? I'm sorry, I just can't see that.
The current model has a range of 36.614 - 151,506 with a median of 83,987 deaths with a peak on April 15th and the last death occurring on July 15th.
God, I hope we go under.

Dont have an exact number for you now, but as of friday, deaths under 70 in louisiana were obese (bmi over 30)81% of the time
I know for a fact obesity and socio-economic factors are included in models. (Along with obvious demographic stuff like age)
They’re in ours, I put them in there. We’re modeling all of these things by the zip code across the country to anticipate future surges in critical care patients.
Obesity has a HUGE correlation. COPD probably second, but those often overlap. I know that doesn’t mean causation but, yeah, it does.

Sounds like the fatties are getting harvested. Could be good for the gene pool in the long run
