Are The Democrats & Media Going To Get 4 Jeff Flakes For Impeachment?

Four republicans.
The democrats and the media are looking for 4 republicans to vote with them to open up this impeachment and drag it out for months. They have no chance of removing the President so this is their goal. Just to gum it up and drag out a negative Trump bash trial.
The media is targeting republicans in tough state elections. They tried to intimidate McSally the other day and she told them to piss off. Are they going to get their four Jeff Flakes?
Susan Collins?
Cory Gardner?
Reek?
Martha McSally?
Murk?

It's a really bad strategy. The witnesses that the republicans call will make the dems look really bad.

The longer this shite goes the better it will be for the Magnificent Orange Bastard

I hope so. I'm ready to see the chaos pop off.

I don’t think the republicans are going to actually call the witnesses that we would like to see.
I feel that many here will be disappointed.

Depends.
Mitt seems a given.
Collins? That would be suicidal for her because she is already being challenged by the Dems and has iffy support from the GOP.
McSally? Not happening. She basically told them to frick off recebtly IIRC.
Gardner? Likely.
Murkowski? She likes to showboat, I don’t think she wants to end up on McConnell’s shitlist considering she owes a lot of power to him.

She voted against Kavanaugh.

If the Senate does like the House and only allows Democratic witnesses and the Republicans are not allowed to call witnesses I will be angry.

Was she able to block him? Nope.
She was allowed to showboat by voting against him while he still passed. If that vote was going to make the difference, she’d have been whipped harder than Kunta Kinte to vote for him.

They need a lot more than four

Romney is the only one I see voting with Dems. Maybe Lee from Utah as well.

Yes, for removal. But only 4 for a vote on rules of impeachment and various other resolutions pertaining to said impeachment.

No, she didn’t.

Yes, she did.
She doesn’t get to hide behind semantics.

There are also 2 democrats who could flip/flop also. Manchin in WV and Jones in AL.

But she does, and she did. McConnell allowed her to pair her vote with Daines’ absence because confirmation was in the bag. It is incredibly common.

Murkowski is a dead Senator walking.
