On defense? I wouldn’t be surprised to see Jaquelin Roy play his way into some PT this season. Kid is legit.

with shelvin and apu ahead of him it will be hard for guillory to see much pt.

If we stay in a 3-4 he’ll get PT at End.

Guillory is built like a tank already and dominated at the All American camp all week.

Usually the kids that dominate against elite competition are the most ready.

Gilbert and/or Boutte on offense are easy picks.

Ricks, Roy, Webb or BJ, Guillory and White are my picks on Defense

Boutte-may steal some pr duties and be our Waddle.
Gilbert-with Moss gone it's his job to lose. Should shine if we keep airing it out
Dumervil-if he hits the strength program hard I could see him getting snaps
Hill-we are deep at G but this kid can ball. Could pull an Ingram
Roy-no sense having a new toy, with a pretty open depth chart, and not showing him off. If he comes in ready he will play a lot.
Gaye-jucos got to play or they are just taking up a spot, Travez Moore. Put hi on the field and see what he's got
If we stay 3 man front Shelvin and Ika are too much for Guillory to play a lot.
Sampah/White-one is gonna have to play.
Webb/Ojulari-could see both playing but I'd think the hope is that one is ready to take off. My suspicion is Ojulari who's in and more body ready right now.
Ricks-he will get snaps just because.
Toles-could be starting by Bama. He's good and the position needs another playmaker. He's it.

Hey, Shelvin & Apu are great but Guillory is also a beast and will be in some type of rotation.

Depends on the scheme

If we go to a 4-3 I could see him getting early reps as a 3 technique with Shelvin and Ika getting all the reps at a 1 technique

Either way he seems to be ready to play early in some capacity

Ojulari is an EE and will go through spring practice so he is probably the best bet out of he and Webb to see playing time in the fall.

I see 3-4 starters from our freshmen

1. Ricks will start at CB opposite Stingley
2. Webb will be a terror in practice at OLB/rush specialist
3. Sampah look out for him starting next to Clark at ILB
4. Roy may not start but will puch either Ferrell or Logan at DE

Logan Shelvin Farrell/Roy

Stevens Sampah Clark Webb
Ricks Stingley

Offense:

As others have said, Arik Gilbert probably starts day one and will be playing a large role regardless.

Kayshon Boutte should get a good amount of snaps as well, on offense and on special teams in the return game.

Defense:

Jaquelin Roy is going to be in the rotation at end.

I think Jordan Toles is going to make an impact. He’s going to be fun to watch with his athleticism. I doubt any team in the country has a pair of safeties that are more athletic than Toles and Mo Hampton. Both could realistically be pros in 2 sports.

Antoine Sampah and BJ Ojulari. We’re losing a lot of linebackers and it isn’t unrealistic that these guys come in and are better than the veteran depth guys and end up seeing a lot of snaps.

Roy, Guillory, Ricks, Mcglothern Ojulari and possibly Webb. Like you said though, a lot depends on the next DC.

SVP will not start at center. Centers call the assignments for the line and Hines as some experience. No freshman should start at center.

We’ve had Freshmen start at MLB which is way harder to learn assignments. I wouldn’t think he’d start day one. But I can see him take over eventually bc he’d be the most talented. FR start at center all the time.
