A massive 200 Billion Dollar Sea Wall, built around New York to protect it from rare storms, is a costly, foolish & environmentally unfriendly idea that, when needed, probably won’t work anyway. It will also look terrible. Sorry, you’ll just have to get your mops & buckets ready!

Ironically it would be built by the same folks building the wall on the border.
I am also not sure if this is really a political item as much as an engineering one. It is nearly identical to the MRGO built in New Orleans (also not a political item).

Our sea wall the MRGO cost 1.1 billion to go 2 miles. $200 billion would be a little under 400 miles if my math is correct.
