My wife won a trip there from her company. Will be there for 4 nights. Anyone have an suggestions on what there is to do there? I know that Niagara Falls is not far away.

Do you work there at the airport? I was wondering where your endless encyclopedia of flight information stemmed from.

Damn, those are the exact dates i'm flying to baton rouge so can't even offer a meetup.
I'll browse around, likely sabres are home, the martin house is pretty cool for a few hours (in my hood), university of buffalo may have a bball game, there's a golf dome in tonawanda with virtual golf as well

I’ll be there this summer most likely. Any good places to eat would be cool.

Official list (I'll keep adding as I think of more).
Food/Drink
-Bar Bill for wings in East Aurora. Worth the drive, bring cash (cash only)
-Osteria 66 downtown is pretty good for italian, there's others like Chef's or one over in Lackawanna
-Ru's Pierogie's is on the west side, excellent homemade pierogies
-Betty's for brunch, very good
-If you're younger (talking young 20s), Allentown has very cheap drink specials. Hertel is an up and coming area that has tons of bars up and down the stretch.
-Downtown is always good, lucky day is a great whiskey bar, big ditch is a brewery. I would suggest going to resurgence (chicago street), the labatt house, and riverworks for bars, all in the same area.
Things to Do
- Niagara Falls. Roughly 30 minutes north of buffalo. Would recommend bringing your passport if you have one, cross the rainbow bridge, and venture into canada to see the falls. You can also drive across if it ends up being a cold/windy weekend.
-Check out "Step out buffalo" here. When you look, I already found a wine festival at the hotel lafayette on feb 8th.
-Buffalo auto show is feb 6-10
-Winterfest 2020 is feb 7th
-Winterfest dice fest is a snowmobile/car dice run on feb 8th
-Cupid's craft and vendor fair feb 9th. Seems like a wife activity
-Tons of ice skating rinks, there's one at fountain plaza and also one down by canalside
-Skiing. Some miniature mountains nearby called holiday valley and kissing bridge. If you've got a day and want to try it out, might be worth it
-Sabres are home Feb 6th against the red wings and again on Feb 9th against the ducks
-Casino downtown (Seneca creek). They allow smoking so you will come out smelling like an ash tray

You and I have different definitions of "winning".

There will be a lot of things going on in the Canalside area downtown around that time.
Niagara Falls is 20-25 minutes north.
Make sure to eat, great restaurants and of course...wings (crispy and with bleu cheese).

Buffalo looks depressing. nothing but abandoned buildings everywhere.
Sounds like you don't have much of a choice, since you won the trip and hotel stay, but i'd try to sneak off to Toronto for a night. You'll enjoy that city 100x's more.

Eat the pizza. Buffalo pizza is my favorite.
Also, redhots are a big thing there. (It's hot dogs. I don't get it but there it is.)
